适用范围
本标准规定了指针式石英手表的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存。本标准适用于具有石英谐振器、标准工作电压力为DC1.5V，包括附有可卸或不可卸表带作为整体销售的手表。其他标称值电压的手表可参照使用除“工作电压”的其他条款，手表机心和其他采用该类机心的计时装置亦可参照使用。

【摘要】:Duringshipment,storageandinstallation,PEXtubingmaybeexposedtoUVradiationpriortobeingshieldedfromfurtherexposureafterinstallation.TheeffectsofUVexposureonPEXtubingisdeterminedbyuseofthistestmethod.ByfirstexposingspecimenstosolarUVradiationandsubsequentlytestingspecimensforoxidativeresistanceorstabilizerfunctionality,changesasaresultofsolarUVradiationexposurecanbeevaluated.ThisinformationcanbeusedtodeterminethemaximumallowabletotalUVexposurepriortopermanentshieldingprovidedbyinstallation.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Theresultsofshort-termexposuretestscanprovideanindicationofrelativeoutdoorperformance,buttheyshouldnotbeusedtopredicttheabsolutelong-termperformanceofamaterial.Theresultsoftestsconductedforlessthantwelvemonthswilldependontheparticularseasonoftheyearinwhichtheybegin.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedureforexposingcrosslinkedpolyethylene(PEX)tubingproducedinaccordancewithSpecificationF876tonatural(sunlight)ultraviolet(UV)radiationandevaluatingtheeffectsoftheexposure.Thistestmethodoutlinestherequirementsforspecimensizeandpreparation,exposureorientation,minimumUVexposureenergy,postexposuretestingandreporting.Note18212;WhileotherlaboratoryUVexposuresystemsareavailable,thistestmethodreliesonnaturalsunlightastheUVradiationsource.Laboratorymethodsmaybeaddedinthefutureiftestingconfirmsacorrelationbetweennaturalsunlightandlaboratoryexposure.1.2PEXtubingisnotdesignedforoutdooruse.Datafromshort-termexposuretestingperthistestmethodcanbeusedtojudgetherelativeperformanceofPEXtubingstoredoutdoorsforshortperiodsoftimepriortoinstallationcompletelyshieldedfromsunlight.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodandpostexposuretestingportions,Sections8and9ofthistestmethod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
