【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirements,applicableatthetimeofsupply,forarangeofplasticscontainers,withnominalvolumesbetween125ml(millilitres)and101(litres),intendedprimarilyforpaintsandotherproductsofthesurfacecoatingsindustry.Performancerequirementsandrelatedmethodsoftestaredescribedcoveringfreedomfromleaks,stackingstrength,anti-staticproperties,handlestrengthandlidsecurity.NOTE1.Compliancewiththisstandarddoesnotinitselfimplysuitabilityforthepurposeforwhichthecontainerisused.NOTE2.Wherepaintsorotherproductsareclassedashazardous,thepackagewillberequiredtoconformtotheappropriatesupplyorcarriageregulations.Thismayrequireperformancetestingandcertificationofpackages.
