【摘要】:Theguidedbendtestasdescribedinthistestmethodisusedtoevaluatethequalityofweldsasafunctionofductilityasevidencedbytheirabilitytoresistcrackingduringbending.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaguidedbendtestforthedeterminationofsoundnessandductilityofweldsinferrousandnonferrousproducts.Defects,notshownbyXrays,mayappearinthesurfaceofaspecimenwhenitissubjectedtoprogressivelocalizedoverstressing.Thisguidedbendtesthasbeendevelopedprimarilyforplatesandisnotintendedtobesubstitutedforothermethodsofbendtesting.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Note18212;ForadditionalinformationseeTerminologyE6,andAmericanWeldingSocietyStandardD1.1.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
